When making pages on your site you should be consistent when linking to URLs with trailing slashes. Search engines will see the URL:
http://www.example.com/your-page
as a different from:
http://www.example.com/your-page/
Terminating links to the same page on your site inconsistently could trigger search engines to penalise your site for duplicate content.
If possible, it is recommended to terminate URLs without a trailing slash if possible, in order to decrease folder depth.
